About our practice:
Dr. Douglas Posner started Fall River Vision over 40 years ago. For our first several decades, we were located on Newton Street in downtown Fall River near the SouthCoast plaza. Dr. Herald joined the practice in the summer of 2022 and she worked very closely with Dr. Posner. What she thought would be the start of a long journey only lasted for a few months. In November of 2022, the week before Thanksgiving, a tragic fire occurred (read article) which forced us to relocate. After 6 months of searching and almost a year of construction, rebuilding, and many other unexpected setbacks, we are proud to say that we have relocated to 3950 N Main Street Fall River. Our new spot has parking, is on the bus line, and is close to the new Southcoast railway stop. It is also a brand new modern facility with new equipment that boasts water views, and a koi pond next door :-). We changed our location and our equipment, but we have not changed our commitment to the kind, compassionate medical eye care that was Dr. Posner’s vision all those years ago.
